Loans

The American University of Healing Arts has arranged loan options available for all students with interest rates at the approved Arkansas rate and down payments as low as $400.00. Any loans paid off before the due date will not incur a prepayment fee.

Students applying for loans through programs affiliated with the school may refer to the enrollment packet for detailed information and credit application.

Approved Agencies

We are approved by the Arkansas State Approving Agency for Veterans Administration (V. A.) to offer training to qualified veterans and beneficiaries under the G. I. Bill.  The AUHA is also an approved educational institution for the Arkansas, Texas and V. A. Rehabilitation Services.  Any student approved by these agencies for funding must pay tuition in full before a diploma will be issued.

We do not offer Federal Pell Grants or Stafford Loans at this time. Checks, money orders, cash and credit cards are all accepted.

Scholarships

Beginning January 1, 2005,  affiliated organizations have been sponsoring scholarship awards for select students. Criteria to be considered for this honorary scholarship may include the following:

• academic performance

• attendance

• service to the school and community

• attitude

• professional demeanor

• clinical rapport with AUHA administrative clients and staff

The amount awarded will be at least $250 but may vary depending upon merit and achievement. The selection process and amount will be determined by the appropriate AUHA administrative staff. Students will not be eligible for this scholarship unless they complete the entire program. Scholarships will be announced at our annual graduation.
