Dr. Al-Azzawi was born in 1962, he attended Basrah Medical School and graduated in 1986, he became
Board Certified in Fracture and Orthopedic Surgery in 1994. He worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon for ten years, and served
as a Vice Dean for one of the medical schools in Iraq. Dr. Al-Azzawi offered patients a combination of excellent clinical
expertise and warm personal care providing compassionate care as a philosophy that motivated him during his practice. He participated in publishing
of the largest two Iraqi studies in using Conservatives (Non Surgical) methods for the treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disk Prolapse. His field
of interest is the role of the mind in increasing the healing ability of the body.
