Admission Requirements and Procedures

The American University of Healing Arts School of Massage Therapy, in accordance with federal and state regulations, does not discriminate against students of any age, race, color, gender, religion, disability, national or ethnic origin or sexual orientation.  Please review our Equal Opportunity Statement.

Students seeking admission to the program should schedule an interview with the Education Representative of the school and must provide the following admission information:

  • A completed application

  • $100 non-refundable registration fee

  • High school diploma, GED or college transcript

  • Valid driver's license - must be at least 18 years of age

  • Social Security Card

A space will be reserved upon receipt of a completed application form and the non-refundable $100 registration fee. Students are asked to do this as soon as possible to guarantee a space in the class of choice.

Once a prospective student has submitted the admission information, the student should  return the following completed forms in order to be accepted for enrollment at the University:

A tour of the facility is welcomed by the Education Representative and the Registrar, at any time during open office hours. Please call (501) 687-9500 or  toll free at (888) 666-9101 to schedule an appointment.

An application for licensure of massage may be denied by the Arkansas State Board of Massage Therapy if the applicant has pleaded guilty or nolo contendere to or been found guilty of a felony or Class A misdemeanor or any offense involving fraud, theft or dishonesty. The American University of Healing Arts does not provide English-as-a-Second-Language instruction.
